Frequently Asked Questions
What exactly do you build?
Three things. Websites – from a one-pager to an interactive platform, plus repairs to existing sites. Programs that run on the machine instead of the browser, with access to hardware, network and system level. And legacy systems: getting the data out cleanly, building interfaces, replacing the old system step by step. Where a project goes deeper, we build that too – what matters is not the category but whether it holds up in production.
What does it cost?
Every package has a price range: websites from €990, software from €3,900, legacy systems from €2,400, improvements to existing sites from €900. You get the binding fixed price with the project blueprint – before anything is built. Prices in euros; as a small business under Section 19 UStG we currently do not charge VAT.
What does the fixed price include – and what not?
Everything in the fixed-price quote: scope, features, and handover with source code, access and documentation. If something is added later, we tell you the cost first and only start once you agree. Ongoing support is optional and listed separately in the quote.
Can I see what the result will look like?
Yes. Every package tier has a finished example you can click through – 15 live demos on the Web Design, Software and Development pages. The companies are made up; the technology is real.
How long does it take?
That depends on scope, not on the calendar. A clearly defined website is ready in a few weeks. A program with hardware access, or replacing a legacy system, takes longer – there the work sits in the data model, the interfaces and the safeguards, not in the view. The project blueprint includes the timeline for your project.
Who owns the results and the source code?
With the final payment you receive the source code, project files and documentation – together with the right to use, change and have others develop everything further. Your data and content are yours anyway. We do not build anything you cannot get out of without us — no proprietary format, no hidden dependency.
Can we take it over ourselves later?
Yes. You get access, documentation and a walkthrough — written for someone who was not there while it was built. Anyone who can develop can carry on with it; anyone who only needs to operate it gets an interface for that. Ongoing support is an offer, not a condition.
How do you access our existing systems?
Through the interfaces that exist, with dedicated accounts and tightly scoped permissions — never an admin account that can do everything. Where no interface exists, we build one. Any access can be revoked individually without the rest coming to a halt.
What happens if something fails mid-process?
Processes are built so an interruption leaves no half-finished state: a step that runs twice must not take effect twice, and whatever did not go through is retried or reported cleanly. Failures end up in a notification, not in silence.
Do you work with private individuals?
No. We work for businesses, the self-employed and freelancers; you confirm this when booking.
What if I don't hire you after the blueprint?
You keep the blueprint and may use it without restriction – including with another provider. The €249 is only credited if you hire us within 30 days.
How do we get started?
Book the project blueprint (€249): we work out your project in writing – what gets built, what it costs, when it goes live – and send you a binding fixed-price quote with a timeline. If you hire us within 30 days, we deduct the full €249; the blueprint is yours either way. We are happy to answer short questions beforehand — via the form, by email, on WhatsApp or in the AI Concierge.
The XhaoLab process in five steps
-
Analysis & Strategy
Analyse business goals, bottlenecks and potential. The result is a clear roadmap with measurable priorities.
-
Concept & Architecture
Information architecture, user flow, data flows and integrations are planned for scalability and performance.
-
Design & Prototype
A prototype makes the result tangible early — as a clickable page or interface, before the actual development starts.
-
Development & Integration
We build websites, applications and interfaces, and connect them to the systems already running. Load time and maintainability are requirements, not afterthoughts.
-
Launch & Optimisation
After launch we measure impact, reliability and usage — and refine the system based on those numbers.
All under one roof.
Websites, software and rescue for legacy systems – built in-house, at a fixed price.
